| This is a pretty bizarre photo request but.....? I need a high resolution, close up image of a slice of deep fried potato not a potato chip or french fry, that must show the left hand edge of the slice. | Ok, I understand what you're trying to do, and you have three options: 1. take the photo yourself. ugh. 2. check a stock imagery website. just google: stock photography. most of the good ones though, you have to pay for. or, 3. take advantage of one of the most amazing thing photoshop has, brushes! google "photoshop brushes" or more specifically "potato photoshop brush" or "potato texture photoshop brush". I did a google search for this and found this awesome website (but am unable to actually view the brushes since I don't have photoshop on my laptop). Anyhoo, this dude has brushes that have different textures to them. I'll include the link at the bottom, but remember, there are TONS of brushes websites so be sure to look around. If you don't know what a photoshop brush is, it is basically a "brush" that (after downloading from a website), add into photoshop, and when you select that brush, it'll put down a "stamp" of what the brush is. The website I'm including below will explain a bit more. If you still don't understand, or if you don't know how to add brushes, google that for some tutorials. Trust me, it'll be time WELL SPENT. This website also has an example of what a brush can do. And brushes come in all sorts of styles, textures, varieties, etc. so be sure to look around. (Check the permissions on the website when you download to see what the creator will allow you to use it for. most are free for personal use, and have special instructions for commercial purposes).
