Why are christians against gay marriage and harry potter?
I think it is ridiculous! Please tell me why are christians against gay marriage and harry potter? I don't understand why they call Harry Potter horrible and dark and what is the deal with them against gay marriage? I am not gay but still really wtf?....
Homosexuality, according to Christians, is a sin. They also believe that marriage is supposed to be between a man and a woman and that it's some sort of sacred ritual that is only to be between a man and a woman because God said so. They try to claim marriage as something that only Christians practice.

Harry Potter deals with witchcraft. According to Christians, witchcraft=evil.
Does anybody know where to find the books about Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy being gay together?
I was searching on the internet and came over a section that Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter were gay together! I know that they're not but... i think that it would be interesting to read about! So if someone could help me with this it would be greatly appreicated! PS i think that there is more than one!
Fanfiction.com has many stories about that couple that are EXCELLENT! They are my favorite couple! here is a link to my personal favorite fanfiction, but it is kind of... graphic and innapropriate so if you don't like that stuff just go on fanfiction and dont look for rated m ones.

In the novel Harry Potter does it say that Dumbledor is gay?
I was told that in the novel harry potter Dumbledor is gay is this true?
he is so not gay not that being gay is bad but he is not.
Is there any gay romance/sex at all in the harry potter series?
I heard the actor who plays Dumbledore in the movies is gay, but is that the closest Harry Potter gets to gay people?
There's a lot of slash (Male/Male) Harry Potter fanfiction, some of it apparently very good. I don't know the series, but I do know friends that read HP fanfic and write it (and they're extremely good writers.)

I should think the best site to try for quality HP slash is An Archive of Our Own. Here:

Did you ever think Dumbeldore from harry potter was gay?
I didn't really get that impression the dumbeldore was gay because he was always seen with mcgonagall. I thought they had a thing for each other. Maybe he's bisexual but no gay.
No way. And as far as im concerned he's still not gay. If rowling did not think it was important enough to write it in any of the 7 books then forget it. Its not that she claims dumbledore is gay that upsets me. It is the fact that she added this as a minor after thought after writing all those books that we have come to love. Also, this new book she is releasing to only 7 people The tales of beedle the bard well thats just not fair.
Is anyone else dismayed that the character Albus Dumbledore, from the Harry Potter books, is gay?
I am so tired of everyone being politcally correct. I will not jump up and down and applaud Rowlings announcement. In my opinion, Rowling should have left Dumbledore's sexuality up to the imaginations of the readers. I'm curious, are there alot of other Harry Potter fans that would rather not have known this info?
I don't see why it mattered. His love life had no impact on the story. I think it was a publicity stunt to get more attention--as if she needed that.
Albus Dumbledore (from Harry Potter) is gay? Do you think its appropriate for guyren?
Personally I love the books, but do you think there being a gay character in guyren's books is appropriate? Why? What if your guy asked about the curious behavior in the book?
It would most definitely not be appropriate if it were true. Harry spends a lot of time alone with Albus and then there is the matter of him arriving naked for their final meeting. However Albus is not gay. Nothing in the books ever indicated such. It was a publicity stunt by the media ho JK Rowling trying to stretch out her 15 minutes of fame. If anything, Albus was asexual. Seems to me he had much to much on his mind to worry about such things. As with other people who achieve his degree of knowledge and spirituality, sex tends to be unnecessary. Pax-C
HOW is Harry Potter a story about a gay boys struggle through life?
My friends English teacher said that Harry Potter was, in fact, a tale about a boys struggle through his gay life.
Lulzwot?
Please enlighten me on this topic
I've heard this a bunch, too. I've never really looked into it much though. I've always just dismissed it, because it's so obviously not true.
Dumbledore is gay. But I'm sure you already knew that.
Your teacher is a moron.

I just looked it up, though. This is what I got...

"Who is the most famous gay man in Britain – Will Young, Elton John or Peter Mandelson? No, no, and no. It is somebody else altogether – an international mega-star who is in every British home, even those belonging to the most middling of Middle England Mail-readers. Here are some clues: he lives in a closet. Literally. He hangs out in King’s Cross looking for like-minded people. He wears long flowing purple gowns and waves wands. His best friends are a ginger geek, a female swot and a leather clad geriatric who haunts dusty alleys. There is a strange force in his life he can’t control. It grips him in adolescence and devours his whole being. Oh, and he likes to feel wood between his legs.

Harry Potter is gay. The discovery was made when the US cultural critic Michael Bronski explained in the Boston Phoenix, “So much of the basic Potter plot is identical to the traditional coming-out story: Harry's differentness makes him an outcast in his own family. He is physically, emotionally, and mentally mistreated by the Dursleys [his aunt and uncle]. Their cruelty is calculated and dangerous – he is, in essence, repeatedly queer-bashed by them. And as in so many coming-out stories, Harry is confused by his secret desires.”

The novels are about a secret world. The wizards and witches know they are different, and that they must hide their difference from the grey (straight) world. The similarities between, say, Parcel-tongue (which enables Harry to speak to snakes) and gaydar are striking. The secret world of magic is just as clearly parallel with the old gay world of secret clubs and public toilets – which, alas, most of the world’s gay men still inhabit. Bronski argues that this is becoming more and more blatant as the novels progress: “In the newly released Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Rowling seems to play more openly with a gay reading of the books. During an argument with Harry, the obnoxious Dudley mentions that his cousin spoke in his sleep about someone named Cedric, lashing out, "Who's Cedric – your boyfriend?" And in the ensuing argument, Dudley seems to have a homosexual panic attack when Harry takes out his wand: "Don't point that thing at me," he says repeatedly.”

He even believes that Harry’s wand is – not to put too fine a point on it – becoming more and more like a cock as he gets older and more sexualised. His wand used to produce only “vapour and smoke” but by the most recent novel it is producing solid substances - a Patronus stag, in fact. A house owl scolds Harry by warning him to put his wand back in his pants. JK Rowling has, according to the Daily Mirror, denied that Harry is batting for the other Quidditch team, and said she finds this reading of her novels “astonishing”. Oh, come, come, JK. Look at your enemies, and realise who your friends are."

What the hell? While I can see where they're coming from (kind of) now that they point things out, I still think it's ridiculous. They're just trying to find another problem with something popular. It's only because they can :D
